Format
The individual assessment will take place on August 14th, 2020. Each participant will take part in three 20-minute roleplay simulations with an actor and the instructor. The instructor will observe all three sessions and score the final session based on the cancer coaching skills (listed in the document below). You will receive feedback at the end of the session.
Upon completion of the program including the individual assessment, you will receive a Certificate of Completion regardless of your scoring. However, if you receive a satisfactory standing in the individual assessment, you will also receive a digital credential representing your Cancer Coach Professional Certificate.
Please note that it can take 2-4 weeks to receive your results and digital credential.
If you did not receive a satisfactory standing, you have the option to retake the individual assessment at an additional fee up to two times (three attempts allowed in total). Please contact hlln@yorku.ca for details.
