NOTE: This certificate is part of the learning pathway towards the Decision Support Professional Certificate and cannot be taken separately. You must complete the Decision Support and Analytics in Health Care Certificate and a SQL course before the action learning project. Please review the requirements of the professional certificate. 

Gain work experience and participate in an action-learning project provided by industry partners. You will have the opportunity to apply concepts of data analysis, data storytelling and presentation to a six-week action learning project.

You will be assigned real-world projects from our industry partners that you can complete individually or in small groups. Alternatively, you can also bring datasets and objectives from your organization(s) to complete a project that can be applied directly to your workplace. You will receive mentorship during your project and have the opportunity to meet with the host organization. You will be expected to present your projects on a final presentation day.

This six-week program will be delivered fully online and include self-directed project work and scheduled live web conferences, including:

• Project Overview Session
• Meetings with mentor and industry partner over duration of project
• Presentation Day
